Holy Experience has joined forces with a friend to blog at The Sacred Everyday. As part of their introduction to the blog, they have included a statement of beliefs. It's the kind of thing you may find on a church or seminary web-site, but written with a more poetic feel. It made me contemplate writing such a statement of my own. So what do I believe? And is there maybe a benefit to putting my own words to such beliefs, rather than assenting to those penned by another.
Here's a challenge for all of us: to come up with a written statement regarding our beliefs. And just to crank it up a notch, consider adding a few poetic images (hint, hint to all those that have already written ordination papers and the like - just to keep us "less scholarly ones" trackin' with ya!)
